The Sport Star battery pack is a rugged HDPE tripod mounted casing with IP65 protection for a 18Ah Lithium-Ion battery.  The casing is designed to be low cost and easily assembled.  Consisting of a blow moulded body and cap, which are sealed with a foam gasket and then riveted together.  The pack hooks onto quickly and easily to the Sport Star tripod with a robust steel mounting plate.  Operation is simple, a large single button

allows the user to cycle through various light intensities

and LED lights indicate battery level.
